Here’s hoping for a good night’s sleep. I’ve had a nasty upper respiratory infection and cough that has caused me to lose my voice and not get any sleep. Even the codeine cough sy rup does nothing. Doctor said to wait a few days before starting antibiotics to see if it clears up. Normally, I’m not one to jump into the meds, but I’ve been putting up with this for 10 days and I’m done waiting.

That is a gorgeous picture, if I somehow (magically) get rich when I retire I want to buy an old service station in a small town, restore it, and use it to work on my old cars.  It isn't likely to happen, but it sounds fun.

A town a few miles away has an old Sinclair station that they restored. It’s right on M ain Street. I took a pic of my old 65 F100 there one time.

Thanks. Feeling a bit better today. Less coughing, but still not much voice, and very sore ribs and stomach from coughing. At least the cough is productive now, and I can hack up some of the snot in my lungs.

Get well soon. I have a sore throat now, which usually portends more issues down the line. Already ramping up the vitamins and supplements.

Thanks. Feeling a bit better. Got some decent sleep last night, plan on a good power nap today. I’ve got a busy weekend of playing, so I’ve got to get back to some semblance of health.
